Camp West opened in the West Seattle Junction in November 2022 at 4539 California Ave SW – the beloved former West 5 space that served this neighborhood for years. What emerged was something entirely new: a cabin-inspired, adults-only restaurant and bar that pays homage to the Pacific Northwest’s outdoor culture without asking anyone to rough it.
Think glamping, not camping.

From the elk mounts and canvas tent nooks to the Stanley cup water service and lodge-style wood detailing, every inch of Camp West is designed to transport you. It’s a neighborhood spot that feels like a destination – warm, lively, and unlike anything else on California Avenue.
Camp West is a 21+ venue, making every visit a fully adult dining experience: great craft cocktails, an extensive whiskey wall, and a kitchen that takes comfort food seriously.
PNW-Inspired American Food
Our menu is built around Pacific Northwest sourcing and shareable American plates. Fresh house-made gnocchi, 14oz grass-fed Angus NY Strip seared on cast iron, wild-caught blackened cod with lobster sauce, hand-molded daily salmon burgers, and creative small plates like our Anatolian Bites and Roasted Beet Hummus. Everything is crafted to share – or keep entirely to yourself.
