Free Junction parking lots
The West Seattle Junction Association maintains several free customer parking lots just off California Ave SW – four lots totaling about 229 spaces. The largest is on 42nd Ave SW between SW Alaska St and SW Oregon St, just one block east of Camp West. Street parking on California Ave SW
Free 2-hour street parking is available along California Ave SW and the surrounding side streets, plus a handful of short-term 15-minute spaces for quick pickups. Always check posted signs for time limits and any Restricted Parking Zone (RPZ) rules.
Sundays & the West Seattle Farmers Market
Sundays are especially easy: on-street paid parking is free throughout Seattle on Sundays, and the Junction’s lots remain free as always.
One thing to plan around – the West Seattle Farmers Market runs every Sunday, 10am–2pm, year-round, on California Ave SW between SW Alaska St and SW Oregon St. During market hours that stretch of California Ave SW (right in front of the restaurant) is closed to traffic, so park in the 42nd Ave SW lot one block east, or on nearby side streets, and enjoy a stroll through the market on your way in.
Paid lots, garages & bookable parking
If the free lots are full, you’ll also find paid Diamond Parking lots, the Jefferson Square lot (free and paid sections), and garage parking beneath the nearby QFC/Whole Foods buildings.
