Miller High Life

Some nights call for nothing fancier than a cold, honest beer, and that is exactly where Miller High Life earns its keep at Camp West in the West Seattle Junction. Known for generations as “The Champagne of Beers,” this classic American lager is bright, crisp, and built for easy drinking. In our cabin-inspired cocktail bar and restaurant, it is the kind of pour that pairs just as well with a burger as it does with good conversation by the fire.

About the Brewery

Miller High Life comes from the Miller Brewing Company, founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by Frederick Miller in 1855. High Life debuted in 1903 and remains Miller’s oldest brand. It earned its “Champagne of Beers” nickname thanks to its lively carbonation and the elegant, Champagne-style bottle it was first poured into. More than a century later, it is still a fixture of American beer culture.

Style & Tasting Notes

Miller High Life is a classic American lager, light golden in the glass with a fine, sparkling effervescence. Expect a clean grain sweetness up front, a whisper of hop bitterness, and a dry, refreshing finish. At roughly 4.6% ABV, it is sessionable and uncomplicated, the sort of beer that stays crisp from the first sip to the last.

What to Pair It With

A crisp lager loves salty, savory food. We like Miller High Life alongside our Camp West Burger or the Smash Burger, where the beer’s carbonation cuts right through the richness. It is also a natural with our Crunchy Chicken Sammie. Browse the full lineup on our dine-in menu to build your own pairing.
