Casamigos Blanco

Few tequilas have won over a crowd quite like Casamigos Blanco, and there is a reason it lands on so many lists, including ours at Camp West in West Seattle. Smooth, soft, and easy to love, it is the bottle that converts people who thought they did not like tequila. Whether you are sipping it slow or building a top-shelf margarita, Casamigos Blanco delivers a polished, crowd-pleasing pour that fits right into our cabin-inspired corner of the Junction.

About the Producer

Casamigos was founded by friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman, originally as a tequila they had made just for themselves before demand turned it into one of the most recognizable brands in the category. The name means “house of friends,” and that easygoing, gather-round spirit is baked into the bottle. It is produced in Jalisco, Mexico.

Agave & Region

Casamigos Blanco is a blanco (silver) tequila made from 100 percent blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. The agave is roasted in traditional brick ovens, fermented with a proprietary yeast, and the blanco is rested briefly before bottling. That highland agave and careful production give it the smooth, slightly sweet character the brand is known for.

Tasting Notes

Casamigos Blanco is creamy and approachable, leading with soft agave sweetness, vanilla, and fresh green herbs like mint. There are bright notes of citrus and lemon zest, a touch of white pepper, and a hint of grassy freshness. The mouthfeel is round and oily in the best way, and the finish is long and gently peppery. It is exactly the kind of smoothness that made it famous.

How to Enjoy It at Camp West

Casamigos Blanco is versatile enough to enjoy any way you like. Sip it neat or over a single ice cube to appreciate its softness, or order it as the upgrade in a top-shelf margarita or Paloma where its smooth agave really sings. Our pour is $17. It is a great pick whether you are easing into agave spirits or treating yourself to something a little nicer.
