Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragonfruit is Camp West’s most playful zero-proof pour, and it is every bit as fun to drink as it is to say. Vivid dragonfruit, spicy-sweet ginger beer, cool cucumber, and a hit of lime come together in a bright, lively mocktail with a little kick hiding underneath. In our cabin-inspired bar in the West Seattle Junction, it is the drink that turns heads down the bar and proves that alcohol-free can be the most exciting thing on the table. Great for designated drivers, the sober-curious, expecting guests, or anyone skipping alcohol who still wants a drink with personality.
What’s In It
This one is built on Figlia Sole, a non-alcoholic aperitivo from the Figlia line. Sole is crisp and complex, layering tart Meyer lemon and ripe peach with sweet basil, elderflower, jasmine, and a subtle backbone of white pepper and chili, so it brings both fruit and gentle spice. We add fresh dragonfruit for its mild, melon-like sweetness and gorgeous color, then build the lift with ginger beer for spicy effervescence, cooling cucumber, and bright lime. The tiger is the ginger’s bite; the dragonfruit is hidden in plain sight.
How It Tastes
Bright, tropical, and lively. Dragonfruit and cucumber lead with a soft, sweet fruitiness, then the ginger beer arrives with a warming, spicy fizz and the lime snaps everything into focus. Cucumber keeps it cool and refreshing, while the Sole’s pepper-and-herb backbone adds an unexpected savory edge. It is refreshing first, with a fun little ginger kick on the finish.
A Standout Zero-Proof Option
This mocktail is ideal for designated drivers, guests who are pregnant, anyone who is sober-curious, and anyone simply taking a night off from alcohol. Camp West treats its zero-proof program as a real part of the menu, using premium non-alcoholic spirits, fresh produce, and the same bartender craft as our cocktails. Order this one and you will have one of the most interesting glasses at the table, with zero alcohol in it.
What to Pair It With
The ginger-and-citrus zip pairs beautifully with bold, spiced plates. Try it alongside the Peri Peri Cauliflower, where ginger and chili play off the spice, the Blackened Cod for a bright counterpoint to the char, or the Italian Herb Chicken Fillets. See it all on our dine-in menu.
