How to plan dinner around them
For an evening event, book your table about two hours before the start. That leaves room for an unhurried meal and the walk, which for most of the Junction is measured in minutes rather than miles. Each event card above carries a suggested table time worked out from the start time and Camp West’s opening hours, so you can book as soon as you know you are going.
Camp West opens at noon Monday through Friday and at 11:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Happy hour runs until 5:00 PM and again from 8:00 PM to close, which covers both ends of a typical weeknight event. Camp West is 21 and over.
Some of these finish early enough to eat afterwards instead. A two hour meetup that ends at 8:00 PM, or a group run that sets off at a quarter past six, both leave time to sit down after rather than before. Let your server know what you are doing that evening and the kitchen can pace the meal around it.
Where things happen, by distance
A two minute walk or less. The Missing Piece is 0.06 miles south at 4707 California Avenue SW, across from Easy Street Records. Elliott Bay Brewing is 0.10 miles at 4720. The West Seattle Eagles are 0.14 miles north at 4426. All three are on the same street as Camp West.
Ten to fifteen minutes on foot. Pine Lake Cellars is 0.56 miles south at 5405 California Avenue SW. Sebastiano’s Natural Wines is 0.80 miles north at 3278. Both are a straight walk along California Avenue, or a few minutes by car.
A short drive. The Youngstown Cultural Arts Center is 1.12 miles east at 4408 Delridge Way SW, about five minutes across SW Genesee Street. West Seattle Runner is 1.12 miles north at 2743 California Avenue SW.
Across the bridge. T-Mobile Park is 3.2 miles away at 1250 1st Avenue S, roughly twelve minutes by car without traffic and longer on a game day. The Water Taxi from Seacrest Park is an alternative on a busy afternoon.
