Fremont Vodka

Our House Pour

Fremont Vodka is the house vodka at Camp West, the bottle we reach for first behind the bar in West Seattle. The “H” on our list is shorthand for house: a clean, neutral, Pacific Northwest–style vodka chosen to be the dependable backbone of cocktails rather than a showpiece. It is the kind of spirit that disappears into a drink and lets everything else shine, which is exactly what we want from a workhorse pour.

We keep it on the shelf because most nights people are not ordering vodka to sip neat. They want a crisp vodka soda after a hike, a clean martini before dinner, or a bright, citrusy cocktail with friends. Fremont Vodka handles all of that without getting in the way, and at a friendly price.

About the Distillery

Our house vodka leans on the Pacific Northwest’s strong tradition of small-batch grain distilling, the same craft-spirits movement that has defined Seattle bars for years. We pour it as our unbranded “house” option, so we describe it by its style and role rather than tying it to a single label, since house bottlings can change with availability. If you would like to know exactly which producer is in the well on a given night, just ask your bartender.

Base & Production

Fremont Vodka is a grain-based, neutral-style vodka in the clean Pacific Northwest tradition. Grain vodkas like this are typically column-distilled to a high proof for purity, then proofed down with water to a smooth, unflavored spirit. There is no added flavoring here; it is a straightforward neutral vodka built for mixing.

Tasting Notes

Clean and soft on the nose with a faint grain sweetness. The palate is smooth and neutral, with a light, slightly creamy texture and just enough body to carry a cocktail. The finish is crisp and short, leaving the glass clean. This is a vodka designed to mix beautifully rather than to demand attention on its own.

How to Enjoy It at Camp West

Fremont Vodka is the easygoing choice for any vodka order. Have it in a classic vodka soda with a lime, in a crisp vodka martini with a twist, or as the clean base of a Mule, a Cosmo, or whatever the bar is shaking that night. Our pour is $9, our most approachable vodka and a great way to start the evening.
