Lytle-Barnett Brut is the premium pour on the Camp West sparkling list, a serious Oregon bubbly that holds its own against the world’s best. Made in the Willamette Valley in the traditional method, this is the bottle to reach for when the occasion calls for something special here in the West Seattle Junction. It captures everything exciting about the Pacific Northwest sparkling-wine movement: French technique, Oregon fruit, and real depth.
About the Producer
Lytle-Barnett was founded with a clear goal: to make high-end sparkling wine in Oregon the same way the French make vintage Champagne. Co-founders Andy Lytle and Antony Beck partnered with winemaker Andrew Davis, who focuses on vintage-dated wines aged a minimum of three years before release, and often longer. That patience and precision put Lytle-Barnett among Oregon’s most respected sparkling houses, and it earns its place as the top bottle on our list.
Region & Style
This Brut is made in the Willamette Valley of Oregon from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the classic sparkling grapes. The fruit is hand-picked and gently whole-cluster pressed, then crafted in the traditional method (méthode champenoise) with a second fermentation in the bottle. The wine ages a minimum of three years on the lees, with a low dosage that keeps it crisp and dry.
Tasting Notes
Extended time on the lees gives this Brut a refined, complex character, with yeasty brioche notes layered over orchard and citrus fruit. The bubbles are fine and persistent, the acidity bright, and the finish long and dry. It is elegant, structured, and built for special occasions.
What to Pair It With
A wine this refined deserves standout plates. Try it with our Golden Salmon Cakes, the Blackened Cod, or the Chimichurri Burrata, or pour it to toast a milestone. See more on our dine-in menu.
