It was created with the martini in mind, and that is exactly how we love to serve it in West Seattle, ice-cold and barely dressed so its fresh citrus and clean juniper can do the talking.
About the Distillery
Launched in 2000, Tanqueray No. Ten takes its name from the distillery’s small still number 10, affectionately known as “Tiny Ten.” It comes from the same storied Tanqueray house behind the classic London Dry, but it is produced in small batches with a focus on fresh fruit rather than dried botanicals alone. That extra care is what sets the premium expression apart.
Botanicals & Style
No. Ten builds on the traditional Tanqueray botanical base but adds whole fresh citrus, including white grapefruit, lime, and orange, along with chamomile flowers. The fresh fruit is added during the final distillation in the small Tiny Ten still. The style is still recognizably London Dry, but brighter, rounder, and more citrus-forward, which is precisely why it was designed for the martini.
Tasting Notes
Expect juicy orange and tangy lime up front, a touch of grapefruit pith, and clear juniper underneath, all softened by floral chamomile and fresh herbal notes. The texture is smooth and the finish is bright and clean.
