About the Distillery
Like the rest of the Absolut range, Absolut Mandrin is made in Åhus in southern Sweden. The Absolut brand traces back to 1879 and Lars Olsson Smith, and to this day everything is produced in a single region using locally grown wheat and water from deep Swedish wells. That single-source approach is a big part of why the brand tastes so consistent bottle to bottle.

Absolut Mandrin starts from the same Swedish winter wheat and Åhus water as the flagship Absolut Vodka. It is then flavored with natural mandarin and orange essence, with no added sugar, and bottled at 40% ABV. It is a flavored vodka, so the citrus is built in rather than added at the bar.
