Taking something to the Fix-It Workshop? The West Seattle Tool Library runs it on Wednesday evenings at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, and the next one falls on Wednesday, September 23 from 5:30 PM. Camp West is 1.12 miles away at 4539 California Avenue SW, which makes it a straightforward dinner once your repair is done.
Plan your evening around the workshop
The workshop runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Bring tools, appliances and small electronics, and the volunteer repairers will work through it with you rather than take it away. It is free, though donations are welcome.
There are limits on what can be looked at: pressure vessels, refrigeration systems, firearms and high voltage equipment are all out, and anything you bring has to be a reasonable size to carry in. Here is the route from Camp West to the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center.
