Lunetta Prosecco (Split)

Lunetta Prosecco is a fresh, softly sparkling Italian classic, and at Camp West in the West Seattle Junction we pour it as a single-serve split, your own little bottle of bubbles. A “split” is a small bottle, about 187ml, roughly a quarter of a standard wine bottle and just right for one glass. It is the easygoing, celebratory pour you reach for when you want something light and festive without opening a full bottle.

About the Producer

Lunetta is made by Cavit, a respected cooperative in Italy’s Trentino region in the northeast. Founded in 1950 as a consortium of grape growers, Cavit unites many local cellars and growers to produce a broad, dependable range of Italian wines. Lunetta is its approachable Prosecco, crafted to be bright, fresh, and welcoming, which suits the relaxed Camp West spirit nicely.

Region & Style

Lunetta is a Prosecco DOC sparkling wine made from 100% Glera, the signature grape of Prosecco. The fruit is grown in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. Prosecco is made in the tank (Charmat) method, which preserves the grape’s fresh, fruity aromatics and gives the wine its light, lively character.

Tasting Notes

Expect aromas of apple and peach over a fresh, softly sparkling palate. There are gentle notes of ripe stone fruit, a clean feel, and bright, refreshing bubbles. It is light, friendly, and very easy to enjoy.

What to Pair It With

Prosecco is a brilliant apéritif and a flexible food partner. Try it with our Arancini, the Golden Salmon Cakes, or the Kale Caesar for a fresh match, or sip it solo to kick off the evening. See more on our dine-in menu.
