Treveri Blanc de Blanc

Treveri Blanc de Blanc is a homegrown Washington sparkling wine, and it is one of the Pacific Northwest pours we are proudest to feature on the Camp West list here in the West Seattle Junction. Made by Treveri Cellars, the Yakima Valley sparkling specialist, this is crisp, dry bubbly crafted from Chardonnay in the traditional method. It is proof that you do not need to look to Europe for serious, food-friendly sparkling wine.

About the Producer

Treveri Cellars is a Yakima Valley sparkling-wine house founded by Juergen Grieb, who trained at the Trier School of Enology in Germany and made sparkling wine in Trier before settling in Washington. Treveri has built a reputation as one of the state’s leading sparkling producers, focused on well-made, approachable bubbles. As a Washington winery, it is a natural fit for our Pacific-Northwest-leaning list.

Region & Style

This Blanc de Blanc is made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Washington’s Yakima Valley and Columbia Valley region. “Blanc de Blanc” means it is made entirely from white grapes. Treveri crafts it in the traditional method, with a second fermentation in the bottle, and ages it on the lees before release, which builds fine bubbles and added complexity.

Tasting Notes

Expect a lively mousse with citrus and green-apple notes, lemon-lime brightness, and a subtle hint of toast and brioche from time on the lees. The palate is crisp and dry with bright acidity and abundant bubbles, finishing clean and refreshing.

What to Pair It With

This dry, citrusy sparkler is wonderfully versatile. Try it with our Golden Salmon Cakes, the Chimichurri Burrata, or the Arancini, or pour it as a celebratory apéritif. See more on our dine-in menu.

How We Pour It at Camp West

We offer Treveri Blanc de Blanc by the bottle at $35, an easy way to bring a local Washington sparkler to the table for a celebration or a special dinner.
